Welcome to the NJCAA Championship Events website and thank you for your interest in hosting one of 48 national championships sponsored by the second-largest intercollegiate athletic organization in the United States.
Since 1938, the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has been the governing body of two-year college athletics, offering athletic and academic opportunities to college students in concert with the educational mission of its member colleges. The NJCAA has over over 500 member colleges across the United States and each year nearly 60,000 student-athletes compete in one of 28 different sports the organization sponsors.
At the conclusion of each sport season teams from across the nation compete for the ultimate prize – a national championship. But first, the appropriate venue and community is needed to host these exciting events.
Civic organizations, colleges, sports commissions and similar groups across the country are looking for national events to help promote their community as a preferred destination. These groups understand the economic impact and prominence that is placed on a community when hosting a national collegiate championship such as those sponsored by the NJCAA. These events fill hotel rooms, impact local restaurants and businesses, provide exciting and affordable entertainment for families and showcases the community to a national audience.
Please take a moment and review the information and documents on this site to see if your community is potentially the right fit to host one of 15 championship events currently available for bid from the NJCAA .
